By Zoila Palma: Recently, Hortence Hernandez ASP, the Officer in Charge of the Police Public Relations Office, delivered a customer care presentation to 30 trainees from the Transport Department.
The presentation highlighted effective communication, professionalism, and positive interactions with the public.
The training also provided the trainees with an overview of how to best handle customer complaints and uphold high ethical standards while performing their duties.
ASP Hernandez noted that customer care is an essential component in public service, adding that being respectful and courteous in conduct helps build trust between government institutions and the public.
The training on Traffic Enforcement for Transport personnel is a collaboration between the Belize Police Department and the Transport Department.
