Transport CEO explains motorcycle training and curriculum

By Zoila Palma: Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Transport Chester Williams explained on The Morning Show on Monday more about the motorcycle training and curriculum.

Williams says that the $300 payment for the training was decided upon following an analysis of how the training would be carried out.

“ Trainer would need to get motorcycles to do training, trainer would need to maintain the motorcycles, the trainer would have to buy fuel and make copies of the manuals and rent a place to do training. The trainer will have those expenses to do training,” Williams said.

Williams added that the curriculum for the training will be developed by the Department of Transport.

The curriculum would then be handed over to the certified trainers.
