By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police are investigating a traffic collision that occurred late Sunday night on Guadalupe Street, Orange Walk Town, leaving two vehicles extensively damaged.
According to police, the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2025, when a red two-door Mazda pickup traveling toward San Antonio Road lost control and collided into the rear of a parked vehicle.
The parked vehicle, a pearl black Great Wall Wingle 7 pickup, was stationed on the right shoulder of the street in front of a residence. The impact caused significant damage to the rear of the parked pickup, including damage to the bumper, tailgate, and rear lights.
The Mazda pickup also sustained major front-end damage, including a damaged bumper, grille, radiator, and shattered windshield. Police confirmed that no injuries were reported.
A Notice of Intended Prosecution was served to the driver of the Mazda pickup, who accepted responsibility for the collision. Both parties agreed to settle the matter through insurance. The scene was processed and a sketch plan was prepared as part of the investigation.
