By Zoila Palma: Candidates and supporters of the PUP and UDP marched on Monday proudly nominating and showing their support for their respective candidates as we prepare for the March 12 elections.
Tracy Taegar Panton has expressed gratitude to the people of Albert for their support.
“It is a BIG deal to be nominated to run for political office whichever political party you chose to represent. I wish to thank the People of Albert for believing in me and my nominees Mrs. Elmore Bailey, Mrs. Gilda Brannon, Mr. Tejaun Frazer, Ms Hope Panton, Mr. Mr Sean Taegar and Mr. Santiago Zaiden for standing with me on this historic occasion,” Panton said.
Panton says that she has always had a desire to serve Belize.
“It is more than a calling, it is my conviction. I understand that service to others is a sacred responsibility and a duty that I embrace wholeheartedly. Our citizens have a constitutional right for their voices to be heard. As political leaders we work for the electorate (not the other way around),” she added.
“Fi Democracy, Fi BELIZE, Tracy for Albert, AGAIN!,” Panton said.
