By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A young couple in Carmelita Village, Orange Walk returned home from a long day of work on Monday evening to find their residence on Spanish Town Street completely ransacked.
The victims, a tour guide and an airline agent, reported that they had secured their green concrete home early that morning before heading to their respective jobs.
Upon their return around 6:40 PM, they discovered that burglars had gained entry by cutting a window screen and removing two glass louvres.
Once inside, the culprits made off with an HP laptop, a smart projector, speakers, and power banks, with a total value of $1,200.
Scenes of Crime personnel have since processed the home, and the investigation into the theft remains ongoing.
