Toledo’s St Peter Claver RC clinches 2024 Girls National Primary Schools Basketball Championship

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Toledo’s St Peter Claver RC of Punta Gorda won the 2024 Girls National Primary Schools Basketball Championship, organized by the Belize National Sports Council, on Friday at the Toledo Sports Complex in Punta Gorda.

Homestanding St Peter Claver defeated defending champions Stann Creek’s St Alphonsus of Seine Bight 16-7 in the Final to claim the 2024 national title.

St Peter Claver’s Vashty Valerio was named Most Valuable Player.

Belize District’s The Island Academy of San Pedro earned third place. Last year they finished in fourth place.
