By Aaron Humes: 38-year-old Polirencio Ack of Silver Creek, Toledo District, is dead and a teenager, Anasario Cal, is injured in hospital after a motorcycle accident on Friday.
Ack is survived by three children and worked for the Toledo Institute of Development and the Environment (TIDE) as a ranger.
According to ACP Hilberto Romero, Head, National Crimes Investigation Branch, “Information is that Cal was driving a motorcycle when he lost control before he arrived at the bridge, causing injuries to Ack and injuries to himself. Ack was taken for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries. Cal is in custody and has been charged with manslaughter by negligence and causing death by careless conduct.”
