By Aaron Humes: A shooting incident in Ladyville, Belize District, has left two men, Shakeem Ferguson and Elroy Bainton, dead, and a third person, Shakeem’s brother Akeem, injured.
According to reports, Shakeem Ferguson was killed first near Ladyville R.C. School, while Bainton was shot and later died. Akeem’s condition is unknown.
Investigations suggest that one person carried out the shooting, using a gun linked to Shakeem Ferguson. It’s unclear if the shooting was a retaliation or a targeted attack.
