By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A rear-impact traffic accident near the entrance of San Jose Village in Orange Walk has left both vehicles damaged and occupants complaining of injuries.
Police say the collision occurred when a white Mitsubishi, traveling behind a Ford F150 pickup, struck the rear of the truck after it slowed down near a pedestrian ramp.
The impact reportedly caused the Mitsubishi to lose control and swerve across the highway before coming to a stop.
Both drivers and an additional passenger were issued medico forms after reporting pain following the accident. The scene was processed by Scene of Crime personnel, and police say statements are yet to be formally recorded.
Investigations into the accident remain ongoing.
