By Zoila Palma: This week, 3 more families in the Belize District are celebrating a life-changing milestone, joining hundreds across the country as first-time homeowners.
For two of the recipients, the moment was even sweeter when, upon receiving the keys to their new home, they found out that they are now next-door neighbors.
“With ribbons cut, these families now step into a future filled with greater stability, independence, and peace of mind,” the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) expressed.
The modular housing program continues to be the flagship initiative of the Government of Belize (GOB) delivering starter homes to families nationwide.
The program is a core component of “Plan Belize”.
