By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Three men were arrested and charged for public drinking during a police mobile patrol conducted Saturday evening in Orange Walk District.
Between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on February 28, 2026, officers conducted business visits and traffic enforcement operations aimed at addressing quality-of-life offenses and targeting traffic violators.
As a result of the patrol, Javier Angel Flores, 27, a butcher of Guinea Grass Village; Mauro Ivan Carlos, 28, a butcher of Carmelita Village; and Felipe Apolonio Camara, 44, a laborer of Guinea Grass Village, were formally arrested and charged for the offense of public drinking.
Police also issued two traffic violation tickets during the operation.
Officials say patrols will continue as part of ongoing efforts to maintain public order in the district.
