By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Three men have been formally arrested and charged following a disturbance that resulted in damage to property in Orange Walk Town last week.

Police report that statements were recorded, the scene was processed, and surveillance footage was reviewed as part of the investigation into the incident.

The three men detained are a 33-year-old resident of Palmar Village, a 21-year-old resident of Trial Farm Village, and a 25-year-old resident of Santa Rita Street, Orange Walk Town.

Investigations revealed that the 33-year-old initially provided police with a false name. A Social Security card later confirmed his true identity. He was informed of the additional offense of mischievous act.

On Friday night, police formally arrested and jointly charged two of the men for damage to property and throwing missiles.

One of the accused was additionally charged for threat to damage property and threat of death, while the other faces an additional charge of mischievous act.

The matter is now before the court.
