By Zoila Palma: On June 25, 2026, the Sustainable & Inclusive Belize (SAIB) Program held a signing and award ceremony for its first cohort of tourism grant recipients.
The Belize Tourism Board (BTB) noted that 39 Belizean tourism entrepreneurs will collectively receive over BZD $1.1 million to bring innovative, sustainable projects to life across the country.
Through grants, technical support, and capacity-building, SAIB is empowering Belizean tourism MSMEs to grow stronger, more competitive businesses while promoting sustainable development nationwide.
The BTB congratulated all recipients and expressed enthusiasm in seeing their projects and its impacts.
