By Aaron Humes: 30-year-old Theodore Dwyer was the target of gun violence tonight, Monday, in Belize City in the Mayflower Street area.
According to police, Dwyer, a Jamaican national, was sitting on a chair by the basketball court through an unnamed alley off Mayflower Street when 3 men walked out from down the alley and proceeded to fire several shots towards his direction.
Dwyer was hit several times and is currently hospitalized at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, condition unknown.
Police are investigating.
