By Aaron Humes: On Wednesday at 6:51 p.m., police received information of a robbery at the Residence Building, Cork Street, Belize City.
Responding officers spoke to an employee who reported that at 6:30 p.m., two men dressed in full black clothing, armed with 9-millimeter pistols, entered her office and demanded money. They then took her to the other office and tied her up.
Moments later, she untied herself and made checks back in her office, where she noticed that a cash pan containing $9,000, her purse containing personal documents and $100, and 2 Samsung cellphones were missing and believed stolen.
Police are investigating.
