By Zoila Palma: The Institute of Archaeology is advising Tour Operators, Tour Guides, and visitors that on Monday, April 13, 2026 starting at 10:30 AM, there may be delays crossing the ferry over to the Xunantunich Archaeological Reserve.
The Institute says that they will be transporting solar power system components into the site.
“We appreciate your patience as we work to complete this process.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” the Institute of Archaeology said.
