By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A 13-year-old boy is in critical condition following a traffic accident that occurred on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, in Guinea Grass Village, Orange Walk District.
Police say the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. and involved a 2001 Chevy S10 pickup and a Lifan 110 scooter. Initial investigations revealed that the pickup was being driven by 24-year-old Nathaniel Narvallez, while the scooter was being driven by the teenage boy.
The collision occurred when the scooter reportedly collided into the left front fender of the pickup truck. Police noted that the boy was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
As a result of the collision, the child sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
