TEC-9 used in deadly Belize City shooting near Puma Super Station

By Horace Palacio: A fatal shooting has rocked Belize City as DeAndre Usher was killed near the Puma Super Station on Cemetery Road at Johnson Street on Sunday night. The incident occurred around 8:00 PM when a masked gunman opened fire on a group of men using what is believed to be a TEC-9 machine gun.

Usher was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital but succumbed to his injuries upon arrival. Police are investigating the shooting, but the motive remains unclear. The assailant, who reportedly had his face covered with a shirt, remains at large.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward to assist in the investigation.
