By Zoila Palma: Parents of students at St. Andrew’s Anglican Primary School in San Ignacio were urged to pick up their children from classes today after teachers failed to show up for work.
Reports indicate that the teachers are on strike due to delays in receiving their salaries.
Earlier this week, Dr. Nelma Mortis, a career educator and UDP Standard Bearer for Port Loyola, revealed that 650 teachers nationwide have yet to receive their two-year salary increment adjustment.
