By Aaron Humes: Police have initiated an investigation following the discovery of a body in the DFC area of San Pedro Town on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Hilberto Monima, a well-known taxi driver from Corozal Town.
His lifeless body was found under unclear circumstances, as witnesses report that officers were called to an apartment building near Ambergris Stadium. At this moment, the cause of death remains undetermined, and an autopsy has been scheduled to ascertain the circumstances surrounding his passing.
Preliminary reports indicate that no foul play is suspected at this time, although authorities have not yet released an official cause of death.
