By Zoila Palma: Belizean students seeking to pursue higher education abroad are being encouraged to apply for two major scholarship opportunities now open for the 2026 academic year in Taiwan: the MOFA Taiwan Scholarship Program and the TaiwanICDF Scholarship Program.
The 2026 MOFA Taiwan Scholarship Program is officially open for applications, with a deadline of Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
The program supports Belizean students pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degrees in Taiwan. Applicants may also choose to include a one-year Mandarin language training course prior to beginning their degree program.

Applications are also being accepted for the 2026 TaiwanICDF Scholarship Program, with a deadline of Friday, March 13, 2026.
