By Zoila Palma: Recently, the Taiwan Embassy welcomed a vibrant delegation from Taoyuan City, Taiwan, consisting of 19 students from 13 high schools.
The students are accompanied by representatives of Taoyuan City Government and dedicated teachers, on their eye-opening visit to Belize.
During their visit, the delegation had the opportunity to explore Maya archaeological sites and nature reserves, while also engaging in meaningful educational and youth exchanges.
A highlight of the visit was a book donation activity at St. John’s College, where students from Taoyuan and St. John’s College came together in the spirit of learning and sharing.
“This symbolizes our shared commitment to fostering educational exchange and youth cooperation,” the Taiwan Embassy noted.
“This journey has built a bridge of friendship between the young generations of Taiwan and Belize. We look forward to seeing this cross-ocean bond continue to grow and flourish in the years ahead,” the embassy added.
