By Zoila Palma: Over the weekend, the Taiwan Embassy in Belize participated in 3 consecutive Lunar New Year celebrations across Belize, hosted respectively by Veggie Garden Restaurant, the ROC Veteran Association in Belize and Formosa Café, as well as the Belize Chinese Association.
“Through festive gatherings, vibrant street fairs, and warm reunions, each event reflected the rich cultural traditions and joyful spirit, bringing together the Taiwanese and Chinese communities as well as local friends in a shared celebration of heritage and friendship,” the Taiwan Embassy said.
The Taiwan Embassy expressed enthusiasm for continued engagement with the community, further strengthening friendship and people-to-people ties between Taiwan and Belize in the year ahead!
