By Zoila Palma: On May 15, 2026, Taiwan’s Ambassador to Belize Amino C.Y. Chi paid a courtesy visit to Anthony Mahler, Minister of Tourism, Youth, Sports and Diaspora Relations, and CEO Nicole Solano.
The meeting focused on the longstanding partnership between Belize and Taiwan, as well as opportunities for continued collaboration to support national development initiatives.
Discussions also reaffirmed the strong diplomatic ties and shared commitment between both countries to advancing initiatives that benefit the people of Belize, while strengthening cooperation in the tourism and sports sectors.
