Suspected drug plane lands near Frank’s Eddy, Cayo District; no cargo found

By Aaron Humes: While suspected aircraft transporting drug cargo have fallen off the national radar, police and security forces remain on high alert.

Earlier this morning according to police sources, a suspected single-engine drug plane was found in the Frank’s Eddy area of Cayo District. While there was no cargo on the plane, no seats were found on the aircraft which suggests it may have been carrying illicit cargo.

The aircraft was believed to have landed on Thursday night. Police are now investigating.
