Survivors, West Lake play to 3-3 stalemate in William Dawson Peace Cup in Belize City

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Survivors FC and West Lake FC tied 3-3 in a thrilling second match in the William Dawson Peace Cup on Saturday at the MCC Grounds in Belize City.

West Lake FC took an early lead with a goal by Michael Hernandez in the first minute, but Survivors FC responded with two goals in quick succession by Alton Carr in the 25^th and 27^th  minutes. The first half ended with Survivors FC leading 2-1.

The second half was as exciting, as West Lake FC equalized the score at 2-2 with a goal by Keffer Perteau in the 46^th  minute. However, Survivors FC regained the lead going up 3-2 with a goal by Keron Sutherland in the 54^th minute. West Lake FC did not give up and again tied the match at 3-3 through Perteau, who completed his brace in the 65^th minute.

In the other games, Caesar Ridge FC and Kelly Street Bombers levelled off 2-2 while Lake I FC dumped Ebony Lake 3-0.
