By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): The week begins on a bright note for Belize, as generally fair weather conditions prevail across the country.
The National Meteorological Service reports sunny skies and mild winds throughout the day, with only isolated showers or thunderstorms expected in some areas later tonight. It’s a perfect day for outdoor activities, with warm daytime temperatures and cooler evening breezes.
Inland residents can expect highs of 92°F (33°C), while coastal areas will see around 89°F (31°C). In the hills, temperatures will be cooler at about 80°F (26°C).
At sea, conditions remain favorable for small craft and fishers. Winds are light and variable, and seas are slight, with waves between 1 to 3 feet.
The Met Service also issued an update on Tropical Storm Lorenzo, which formed early this morning over the far eastern Atlantic. The storm, located well away from the region, poses no threat to Belize.
Forecaster Crystal Rosalez says Belizeans can expect continued fair weather into Tuesday, with only isolated showers or thunderstorms forecast.
The next few days should bring calm seas, warm sunshine, and comfortable nights, typical of mid-October’s dry spell before the return of more humid conditions later this month.
