By Breaking Belize News Staff: Generally fair weather continues across the country today, with sunny skies and occasional cloudy spells. While the majority of Belize will remain dry, the National Meteorological Service forecasts isolated showers or thunderstorms, with a slight increase expected over northern and inland areas tonight.
Marine conditions are favorable, with light easterly winds between 5 to 10 knots and seas in a light chop, producing waves of 2 to 4 feet. Daytime temperatures will climb to 93°F inland, 88°F along the coast, and 82°F in the hills.
Tonight’s skies are expected to become more overcast, especially in northern districts. Heading into Friday and Friday night, only isolated showers or thunderstorms are anticipated.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Dexter, currently situated over 400 miles south of Cape Race, Newfoundland, poses no threat to Belize.
Residents are encouraged to stay hydrated and cautious under the heat, especially in inland areas during peak hours.
