By Horace Palacio: Belizeans can expect another warm and mostly dry day across the country as fair weather continues to dominate. According to the National Meteorological Service, sunny skies and a few cloudy intervals will prevail throughout the day, with only isolated showers possible.
Temperatures will reach a high of 92°F (33°C) inland, 86°F (30°C) along the coast, and 78°F (26°C) in hilly areas. Tonight will bring mild conditions, with temperatures dipping to the mid-60s inland and the low 70s along the coast.
Winds from the east-northeast at 5 to 15 knots will contribute to choppy to moderate sea conditions, with waves ranging between 3 to 6 feet. A small craft advisory is not in effect, but mariners are advised to remain alert.
Looking ahead to Saturday, similar weather conditions are forecast, meaning the weekend should begin on a sunny and dry note.
