By Breaking Belize News Staff: A moderate and relatively moist easterly airflow continues to influence weather conditions over the country today, bringing cloudy skies with sunny breaks and scattered showers.
According to the National Meteorological Service, a few showers and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced in the morning, affecting various areas across Belize. These are expected to become more isolated by the afternoon. Tonight, skies will remain partly cloudy to cloudy, with isolated showers expected except in the south, where a few more can develop.
Winds are blowing from the east at 10 to 20 knots, creating moderate sea conditions with waves between 4 to 6 feet. Coastal temperatures are expected to peak around 86°F, while inland areas may reach up to 88°F. Cooler temperatures are expected in the hills.
The tropical weather outlook remains quiet, with no signs of cyclone formation over the next 48 hours in the North Atlantic Basin.
The outlook for Monday and Monday night remains generally fair, with partly cloudy skies and isolated showers, except in the south where early morning and late night showers may continue.
