By Breaking Belize News Staff: Today’s weather report from the National Meteorological Service indicates that the atmosphere over Belize is becoming less unstable, resulting in mostly fair conditions countrywide. While cloudy skies may persist for much of the day, sunny breaks are expected across most areas. There is a chance of isolated showers or light rain, particularly along the coast and over offshore waters. Tonight’s forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with only a few isolated showers lingering into the night.
Marine conditions show winds coming from the north to northeast at 5 to 15 knots, creating light chop to choppy sea conditions with waves between 2 and 5 feet. Inland areas will be warmest today, reaching up to 92°F with overnight lows around 72°F. Coastal regions will experience slightly cooler conditions with daytime highs of 87°F and lows of 76°F. Mountainous areas will remain mild with highs of 78°F and nighttime temperatures dropping to 64°F.
The weather outlook for Tuesday and Tuesday night suggests continued fair conditions and only isolated showers across Belize. Today’s tidal schedule includes a high tide this morning at 9:10 AM, a low tide at 4:39 PM, and another high tide late tonight at 10:46 PM. An early morning low tide is expected at 3:48 AM tomorrow. The sun rose today at 5:21 AM and will set at 6:16 PM, while the moon will rise at 6:30 PM this evening and set at 5:46 AM on Tuesday.
With more stable conditions in the forecast, Belizeans can expect a drier start to the week. BBN will continue to monitor the weather and provide updates as needed.
