By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, the San Ignacio & Santa Elena Town Council issued a statement informing the public that they can assist in promoting students’ safety by trying to avoid using the George Price Highway that passes in front of Sacred Heart College unless necessary during peak student arrival and departure times, from 8:00 to 8:30 AM and 2:00 to 2:30 PM.

During these hours, students are entering and exiting the college premises, causing congestion.

To alleviate traffic and ensure student safety, motorists are encouraged to utilize the low-lying bridge during these specified times.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your cooperation in ensuring smooth traffic flow and student well-being,” the council said.
