By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On October 25, 2024, the Belize City Council welcomed Fourth Form students of Edward P. Yorke High School for an insightful tour of City Hall.
“This visit provided a valuable opportunity for students to gain insight into the functions of municipal government and the decision-making processes that influence the development of our city,” the City Council said.
The council thanks Edward P. Yorke for their interest in the work of the Belize City Council.
“It is our hope that this experience not only broadened their understanding of civic operations but also instilled a sense of responsibility and motivation to contribute positively to the future growth and development of their communities,” the council added.
