Stolen motorcycle recovered in Orange Walk, four detained

By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police in Orange Walk have recovered a stolen motorcycle and detained four individuals in connection with the theft.

Reports indicate that on March 17, 2026, a 22-year-old call center agent reported that her black 2024 Lifan 100cc scooter, valued at $2,200, had been stolen from her yard on Douglas Street, Orange Walk Town.

The complainant stated that she had securely parked the motorcycle inside her yard on the night of March 16, 2026. However, upon checking the following morning, the vehicle was missing.

Police conducted investigations, which included the collection of video footage, leading to the recovery of the stolen motorcycle.

Authorities have since detained four individuals in connection with the incident: two 18-year-old males, a 21-year-old male, and a 15-year-old minor.

The recovered motorcycle has been identified and accounted for.

Police investigations are ongoing, and court action has been requested.
