Introduced last year, the address is as it says, a review of the nation’s affairs for the year gone. This year’s event is being held indoors due to inclement weather at the University of Belize Gymnasium.
A highlight is the swearing in of 44 new Belizean citizens in celebration of 44 years of Independence.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Culture Francis Fonseca says we are a nation “on the move” and “on the rise” and these and others are ready to contribute to building Belize.
