By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Stars Volleyball Club has launched its 2024 Female Development Christmas Program. This initiative, taking place from December 16-21 and January 2 & 3, aims to foster the growth and skills of young female volleyball enthusiasts in the community.
Being held at the Stars Gym on Princess Margret Drive, across from Edward P. Yorke High School, the program welcomes participants across various age groups. Each group has dedicated sessions to ensure age-appropriate training and development:
- Group A (5-7 years old): 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Group B (8-11 years old): 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Group C (12-14 years old): 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Group D (15 years and older): 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
This initiative promises not only to develop volleyball skills but also to instill the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship in young athletes.
Volleyball is not just a sport; it’s a way of life that teaches young girls the importance of dedication and working together towards a common goal and the Stars Volleyball 2024 Female Development Christmas Program is all about nurturing the next generation of volleyball stars.
