St Catherine Academy defeat Pallotti High School 3-1 in first leg of CSSSA Football Competition 3rd Place game

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Saint Catherine Academy (SCA) won 3-1 over Pallotti High School in the first leg of the Central Secondary Schools Sports Association (CSSSA) Football Competition Boys Semifinals on Tuesday at the Marion Jones Sports Complex.

Julissa Ayala led SCA with a brace, scoring in the 17^th and 65^th minutes. Davae McCauley converted the third in the 73^rd minute.

Jasha Bernardez salvaged a goal for Pallotti in the 89^th minute just ahead of the final whistle.

Pallotti, who finished in third place in the first round over fourth place SCA, will have another shot at their nemesis when they face each other again on Saturday in the second leg at 9:00 am.

In the Boys third place match, Sadie Vernon High School beat St John’s College 3-1 as well on Tuesday.

Gwen Lizarraga High take on Wesley on Wednesday in the first leg of both the Girls and Boys Finals at 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm respectively.
