Southern Strides for Education: Fundraising Run to support scholarships in Southern Belize

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Southern Strides for Education 10K/5K Run is set to take place on May 25, bringing together runners from all over the region to support secondary education scholarships in Southern Belize. Hosted by Altitude Fitness in Independence Village, this annual 5K and 10K run aims to make a significant impact on the educational opportunities available to local students.

The event will kick off with the 10K race at 6:00 am, followed by the 5K race at 6:15 am. With limited spaces available, participants are encouraged to register early. The top performers will be awarded including finisher medals and trophies for The top three men and women in both the 5K and 10K races will be awarded medals. Additionally, the top three 10K men and women will rwcwive trophies.
