By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Softball Federation is gearing up for a full day of action this Sunday, February 15, 2026, as six teams meet in Sandhill Village for the Inter‑Office Softball Marathon, a competition that promises food, fun, and fierce rivalry on the diamond.
The marathon begins at 10:00 am at the Sandhill Softball Field, where corporate and institutional teams will battle through a knockout schedule leading to the championship game later in the day.
The participating teams are:
- Bowen & Bowen Brewers
- Power Sockets (BEL)
- HRCU BCC Eagles
- Maritime Enforcers
- Belize Bank Bulldogs
- The Enforcers
The opening matchup features Bowen & Bowen taking on The Enforcers at 10:00 am, setting the tone for a competitive slate of games. The winner of that opener advances to face the HRCU BCC Eagles in Game 3.
In the second game of the day, the Maritime Enforcers meet Belize Bank, with the winner moving on to face BEL’s Power Sockets in Game 4.
The winners of Games 3 and 4 will then square off in the Championship Game, where the 2026 Inter‑Office Softball Marathon title will be decided.
The Belize City Softball Association is encouraging families, coworkers, and supporters to come out and enjoy the atmosphere. With food on sale, a friendly community vibe, and plenty of competitive spirit, the marathon is expected to draw a strong crowd.
