By Aaron Humes: The Belize City Council is hosting its second Holy Week Revival Concert beginning tonight, Tuesday, at the Digi Park in Belize City.
Mayor Bernard Wagner says the Concert will serve as a space for family values and community engagement, capturing the spirit of the season and ministering to souls.
Senator and pastor Louis Wade, of the Nazarene Church, joked that the 2023 event was so fresh in his mind he thought it was last year – perhaps because it was and remains, he claimed, the largest concert of its kind to have taken place in Belize.
Wade added that this event will surpass whatever is offered in the secular domain and unite cultures.
Featured artists and entertainers include the Heavenlies Gospel Band, Dudamis and Centro Vision Misionero. Transportation will be free as will entrance with food and drinks available.
Sinach promises healthy worship and fellowship with God and man, while Christafari’s representatives emphasize a time of reflection and celebration at this holiest of times. They are scheduled to also perform down South.
