By this afternoon, the rainfall activity is expected to shift toward inland and some southern areas.

Temperatures will remain hot, particularly inland, where highs are expected to reach 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Coastal areas will see highs near 88 degrees, while temperatures in the hills will reach around 84 degrees.

Tonight, skies will be cloudy at times, with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms developing mainly along the coast.
