By Aaron Humes: A shooting incident on Iguana Street this afternoon has resulted in the injuries of three individuals, prompting a swift response from law enforcement and medical personnel.
According to police reports, shots rang out earlier today. The victims, who have since been transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment, include a woman and a 12-year-old boy.
The injured have been identified as follows: Marelee Richards, shot in the stomach; Edgar Choc, 36, sustained gunshot wounds to his hand and right foot; and the 12-year-old was shot in his left foot.
Investigations are currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and to identify potential suspects. Community members are urged to come forward with any information that may assist in the ongoing investigation.
