By Aaron Humes: Police have arrested and charged a second individual in connection with the murder of Mark Anthony Gabourel, a 55-year-old delivery truck driver, who was killed on January 7, in Belmopan.
Shaylon Melvin Santos, 29, a construction worker from Teakettle Village, Cayo District, has been formally charged with murder. Santos joins Wilhem Lansbort Coye, 25, who was previously arrested and charged with the same crime.
According to police, Gabourel was shot and killed when two men on a motorcycle attempted to rob him of company money in his delivery truck on Mountain View Boulevard.
