By Zoila Palma: The Toledo Alcalde Association, Maya Leaders Alliance, and the Julian Cho Society issued a statement expressing grave concern over the disappearance of Indian Creek Village Alcalde, Marcos Canti.
“Alcalde Canti was last seen on his way to his farm. As we intensify our efforts to locate him, we extend our gratitude to all Alcaldes who have responded in solidarity as we face this historic aggression together,” the organizations said.
The Maya Leaders are urging anyone with information that may assist in locating Alcalde Canti to come forward.
The community expressed enthusiasm in locating the alcalde and taking him home safely.
