By Breaking Belize News Staff: Belize is waking up to another scorching day as forecasters report that fair, warm, and mostly dry conditions continue to dominate the national landscape. With inland highs expected to hit a blistering 98°F, officials have issued a heat alert, urging residents to stay indoors during peak sun hours, hydrate frequently, and avoid strenuous outdoor activity.

While most of the country will enjoy clear skies with minimal cloud cover, the Toledo District, especially its southernmost villages, may see isolated showers or brief thunderstorms tonight. These quick bursts of rain are unlikely to bring lasting relief from the heat.

The Belize Weather Service is also advising seafarers to proceed with caution. A small craft caution is in effect due to moderate to rough seas and gusty winds that could whip up waves as high as 7 feet. Winds are forecast to blow from the east-southeast at 10–20 knots.

The weather outlook for Wednesday suggests more of the same—fair skies, isolated showers, and continued heat. This marks another week of dry season intensity, with Belizeans already seeking shade and cold drinks as the temperature climbs toward the high 90s.
