By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belizeans can expect mostly fair weather today, but conditions are forecasted to become slightly moist and unstable later this afternoon, according to the National Meteorological Service of Belize.
The Saturday morning will start off sunny with a few cloudy spells, giving way to a medium chance of showers or isolated thunderstorms over inland areas by early afternoon. These may later spread to coastal regions in the evening and early night.
Marine conditions remain calm with light west to northwest winds at 0-10 knots, slight seas, and wave heights between 1 to 3 feet.
Temperatures will be warm, with highs reaching 89°F (32°C) along the coast, 93°F (34°C) inland, and around 80°F (27°C) in the hills. Tonight’s lows will drop to 75°F (24°C) on the coast, 72°F (22°C) inland, and 67°F (19°C) in the hills.
The outlook for Sunday and Sunday night is for generally fair weather with only a low chance of isolated showers or thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Jerry, located about 545 miles south of Bermuda, continues to move north with maximum sustained winds of 60 mph. The system poses no threat to Belize.
Today’s tides will see a low at 7:34 AM, high at 1:50 PM, another low at 6:26 PM, and a high tide again just before dawn on Sunday at 12:44 AM.
