By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Santander Sugar Limited has announced employment opportunities for experienced Agriculture Mechanics to join its operations in Belize.
In a job notice issued this week, the company said it is seeking motivated individuals with experience in maintaining and repairing farm equipment in a fast-paced agricultural environment. The positions involve inspecting, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing tractors, harvesters, and other agricultural machinery.
Successful applicants will also be required to perform preventative maintenance, interpret technical drawings and schematics, fabricate or modify parts when necessary, and maintain accurate maintenance records. The company says mechanics will work closely with operators and supervisors while adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
Applicants are expected to have a trade certificate or diploma in agricultural mechanics or a related field, along with a minimum of two years’ experience. Reliability, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime are also required.
