By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Santander Sugar Group has announced that it is hiring more than 50 factory helpers to join its 2026 harvest team.
The company is inviting walk-in candidates to apply for the positions, which will support operations during the upcoming harvest season.
According to the recruitment notice, factory helpers will assist mechanics, welders, electricians, AC technicians, automation technicians and factory operators in various tasks. Responsibilities include cleaning work areas, removing debris, performing routine checks and minor mechanical repairs, as well as packing, sorting, loading and unloading finished products.
Additional duties may include washing, sanding, grinding, painting and other general yard work as required by daily operations.
Applicants must be 18 years or older, possess a valid Social Security number, and be willing to work shifts and overtime, including weekends and public holidays.
