By Breaking Belize News Staff: Over the weekend, a concert was held at the Santa Elena Sports Complex in Santa Elena, Cayo.
Following the concert, the field remained filthy with plastic and beer bottles all over the field.
The football field is used weekly for a U10, U13 and U15 Tournament.
However, the games for this week’s tournament have been cancelled due to the situation on the field.
Athletes and their families are calling on the relevant authorities to clean the field.
