By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Santa Elena Police made a surprising find during a routine patrol in Santa Elena Town today.
Officers from the newly established Santa Elena Police Station discovered a .38 caliber firearm hidden inside a drain.
The weapon, which was found by patrolling officers, was promptly secured.
It has been sealed, labeled, and officially recorded as found property.
The discovery adds to the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to ensure safety and maintain order in the community.
